On 01.06.2026 Royal Foods EOOD starts the implementation of a contract under a project proposal named “Installation of high-efficiency air coolers”, co-financed through the “Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises” Program 2021-2027, under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises” Grant contract number: BG16RFPR001-2.004-1337-C01 Contract duration: 12 months (until 01.06.2027) Project value: 59 618.68 EUR Financing: 38 752.14 EUR, of which 32 939.32 EUR EU funding and 5 812.82 EUR national funding Since its opening in 2008 until today, Tsarya 65 restaurant has been developing as a preferred place for family gatherings, friendly and business meetings thanks to the high quality of service, carefully selected dishes and cozy atmosphere. Over the years, our team has consistently followed the principle that good cuisine and professional service must be complemented by a comfortable environment – both in the halls and in the kitchen block. The restaurant has a large summer garden, which traditionally attracts many visitors during the warm months. In periods when temperatures reach 30–35°C and more, the stay of customers outdoors becomes difficult, and the indoor premises and the kitchen need reliable cooling. Existing cooling systems are depreciated, energy-intensive and do not provide the necessary efficiency, which leads to: increased electricity costs reduced comfort for visitors difficult work of the staff in the kitchen block limited service capacity during the summer season The solution: implementation of new generation high-efficiency coolers With this project, Royal Foods EOOD takes a strategic step towards modernization and sustainable development by replacing the old equipment with three high-efficiency coolers – two for the guest halls and one for the kitchen block. The new systems provide: cooling with minimal energy intensity supply of filtered, fresh air reduction of dust particles and odors improved ventilation and better operation of other machines elimination of refrigerants with high GWP The technology allows a reduction of electricity consumption by 50% to 80%, which leads to significantly lower operating costs and a direct reduction of the carbon footprint.

2 Investment in modern cooling has a direct impact on service quality and business results: Comfortable atmosphere in the halls and kitchen even on the hottest days Increase in attendance during the summer season Increase in net income by over 30% Compensation of losses from the limited use of the summer garden Better working conditions for the staff Lower electricity costs and higher energy independence The project is in full compliance with European policies for reducing emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases and for increasing energy efficiency in small and medium-sized enterprises. By eliminating freons and reducing electricity consumption, Royal Foods EOOD accelerates its transition to climate neutrality and sustainable development. The investment in a new generation of cooling systems is not just a technological upgrade, but a strategic decision that improves the quality of service, optimizes costs and increases the competitiveness of Tsarya 65 restaurant. The project combines economic efficiency, customer care and environmental responsibility – three key elements for sustainable growth.
